Accreditation
Greenwich Home Watch is an Accredited Member of the National Home Watch Association (NHWA). And our team members are Certified Home Watch Professionals. In addition, our leaders have completed the NHWA Home Watch Boot Camp.
Hiring an Accredited Home Watch company can help ensure that your home is protected by trained professionals with credentials related directly to Home Watch responsibilities. Accredited companies must adhere to strict criteria to maintain membership standing. Here are few reasons why accreditation matters when it comes to the security of your home...
- Accredited Home Watch companies must be bonded and insured, for your protection
- Member requirements limit your exposure to potential liabilities
- All Accredited Members are subject to background checks and are vetted for best business practices
- Members are sworn to represent your best interests in your absence
Certified Home Watch Professionals
To become NHWA Certified, Greenwich Home Watch leadership has gone through a comprehensive training curriculum and must adhere to a strict code of ethics. In addition they’ve passed the Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) exam with a minimum score of 90%. And members complete continuing education credits every two years and must pass a recertification exam with a score of 90% or higher.
Boot Camp
Our Greenwich Home Watch leaders are not only NHWA Certified Home Watch Professionals, they have also completed the NHWA Home Watch Boot Camp. Here, team members learn through performing Home Watch visits with NHWA instructors at actual homes. Learning on-property is a highly effective training strategy that encourages direct involvement and allows members to better retain knowledge- vs. a classroom setting.
